Azizbek Khaydarov — Architectural design.

Process

How an engagement runs.

Every project is different. The shape stays the same; the depth varies. Four phases, in order, each with a clear handoff.

01

Discover

A long first conversation, on the site. The brief is read together and the assumptions inside it are pulled apart. The phase ends when both sides understand what is actually being asked of the architecture — which is rarely what was first written down.

You bring
Site, brief, and an open conversation.
You receive
A written response brief and a fixed proposal for the design phases.
Duration
Typically 2–3 weeks.

02

Concept

Three or four design studies are tested against the brief, the site, and the budget. The work meets weekly, refines in private, and converges on a single direction the client can argue for in any room.

You bring
Direction, taste, and decisive feedback.
You receive
A concept package — drawings, materials, and visualizations — that explains the design completely.
Duration
Typically 4–8 weeks.

03

Refine

The concept resolves into full architectural and interior drawings — every junction, every material, every dimension specified to a degree consultants and contractors can build from. This is where the design becomes precise without becoming rigid.

You bring
Patience, and decisions on the dozens of details that will shape the final feel.
You receive
A full set of design-development drawings and a coordinated specification.
Duration
Typically 8–14 weeks.

04

Deliver

The drawings are released, the contractor is engaged, and the practice stays on through construction — reviewing site work, mediating decisions, and protecting the design through the long final stretch where most projects lose their resolution.

You bring
Trust, and access to the site.
You receive
A built project that resembles the drawings.
Duration
For the duration of construction.

The arc is the same on every project. The duration is not.
